Job Title: External Sales Representative
Location: Gweru
Reporting to: Branch Manager
Supervises: N/A
To actively seek-out and develop customer relationships with the intention to generate
and close sales deals. To identify prospective customers, following up on potential sales
leads. To act as a brand ambassador for the company within the region.
Duties:

  •  Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers.

  • Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with prospective and existing clients.

  • Maintain and develop strong customer relationships, through dedicated service delivery.

  • Educate customers on product range.

  • Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products as well as market conditions to understand customer specific needs.

  • Work closely with the marketing team to help build the company brand.

  • Generate and submit sales report to management.

 

Education: Advanced Level / Related tertiary qualification is advantageous.
Skills: Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills / Strong Negotiation Skills
Abilities: To influence and persuade. To take ownership of one’s work and drive
results. A willingness to learn and collaborate.
Other: Clean Class 4 driver’s license is essential. 5+ years’ work experience in a similar
role.
Preferred Age: 28 – 50 years old

To drive sales within the electrical range of products through committed, timely and
persuasive customer engagement.
Duties:

  • Actively drive the sale of electrical products for the branch.

  • Recommend and advise customers on the product range available.

  • Strive to create positive and lasting customer relationships.

  • Create an atmosphere in which the customer feels understood and satisfied with the service received.

  • Advise management on stock requirements.

  • Provide a warm, professional reception to all customers.

Qualifications: O’levels/ NC Electrician or related field/Sales and Marketing added advantage
Skills: Persuasive / Good Interpersonal Skills / Articulate and Well Presented

To develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to drive company growth.

 

Duties:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve company goals and objectives.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.

  • Build strong, long-lasting customer relationships and maintain frequent contact with key accounts.

  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and develop insights to optimize sales and marketing strategies.

  • Collaborate with the team to create compelling marketing materials, including campaigns, advertisements, and promotional events.

  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to stay informed about market changes and developments.

  • Prepare regular sales and marketing reports and present findings to senior management.

  • Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies to enhance sales and marketing efforts.

 

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing / Business Administration, or related field

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
